Summary
William Mahoney, commissioner on the draft for Frederick County believes draft will take place today, but is awaiting instructions. Surgeons investigation of about 2600 applicants for exemption resulted in 1708 being exempted, 892 rejected. Of the applicants rejected, 92 did not return the finding certificate of fitness for duty. the number exempted by the surgeons is 60 per cent more than the number exempted by Dr. Moran. [Examiner]
