The First Maryland Artillery

Summary

Commendation of Major Petherbridge's Maryland Artillery, especially Battery B, which was in a severe fight near Richmond. Battery B lost two and 18 were wounded. No one in Battery A was killed or wounded. Several local boys belong to this artillery.
