Sent to Fort McHenry

Summary

Walker Y. Page, who moved to Winchester, Virginia after the Confederate retreat from Maryland in 1862, returned to the city recently and was arrested; the man was ultimately sent to Fort McHenry after failing to report to the Provost Marshal’s office the following day, as stipulated in his parole.
