Military Arrests

Summary

Judge James L. Bartol of the Court of Appeals was arrested and sent to Fort McHenry, charges unknown. Charles C. Fulton, editor of the Baltimore American newspaper, was arrested due to his publication of items about the war. Both have since been released.
