Middletown Residents from Disbanded Dix Light Infantry Regiment Join 1st Maryland Artillery]

Summary

Christian A. Koogle, George Main, and Alfred Routzahn, all from the Middletown vicinity, enlisted in Company A of the First Maryland Artillery when the "Dix Baltimore Light Infantry Regiment" was disbanded. They are now with the Union army at Richmond.
