ARRIVAL OF SICK AND WOUNDED. – Another detachment of sick and wounded soldiers, under the care of Dr. Lloyd Dorsey, Active Assistant Surgeon at Winchester, arrived here on Saturday last. The Surgeon in charge, having but half an hour’s previous notice of their coming, found it difficult to provide for their accommodation; but by unusual diligence and energy succeeded in making the poor sufferers comfortable. We would remark, that it is the duty of the proper authorities to produce sufficient Hospital buildings and conveniences at the Barracks, where there is every faculty for the purpose, for the numerous patients they find it advantageous to send here.
