Members of the 1st MD Regt., PHB, Co.I, are planning a military ball to be held at the Junior Hall, Frederick.

Transcript

The members of Company I, 1st Regt., P. H. B., purpose giving a grand Military Ball, the first of the season, at the Junior Hall, in this city, on tomorrow (Thursday) evening. The character of the arrangements are such as to ensure a season of pleasant enjoyment to those of our pleasure seeking citizens who may lend their presence on the occasion. No pains will be spared to maintain the most punctilious order and decorum. The men composing Company I, have been for some time on duty in this city, and have by their gentelmenly deportment & soldierly bearing, won the respect and esteem of the community generally.
