PROMOTED – Sergt. George H. Lease, an efficient member of Company A, Cole’s Cavalry, we learn, has been promoted to a first lieutenancy, a position his service on the field have long since entitled him to. Lieut. Lease, since the period of his enlistment, has shown himself the possessor of no little merit, and we doubt not that his future usefulness will be greatly enhanced by his preferment to a more elevated sphere of military duty.
