Transcript
ARRIVAL OF PRISONERS – Among the prisoners recently exchanged and brought up from Richmond to Annapolis, we are happy to note the names of the following: First Lieut. Ira Tyler, of the 6th Md. Reg., son of Geo. M. Tyler; Sergt. Edward P. Freer, of the 7th Md. Reg., of this city; and privates Eli Keeny, Henry Weller, Edward Kline, and Joseph Flaherty, of the 7th Md. Reg., all of this county. The prisoners are well cared for and have been forwarded to comfortable quarters at Camp Parole. The rest of the Marylanders belonging to this county who were made prisoners at the same time as the above have not been heard from, but as there still remains a number at Fortress Monroe, it is probably that all will shortly make their appearance at Annapolis.
