Military Encampment

Summary

A public meeting was held to discuss the possibility of having a Grand Military Encampment in Frederick during the coming summer. Col. Z. T. Windsor chaired the meeting and George A. Hanson, Esq. was appointed secretary. Two people from each ward are to solicit contributions to defray expenses. If there is enough encouragement, a further meeting will occur. This affair offers a fine business opportunity for Frederick and will be novel attraction.
