Keep it Before the People!

Summary

H. H. Goldsborough, the Unconditional Union candidate for Comptroller of the Treasury, was able to defeat the Rebel Bill of Secession in the Maryland Senate assembled at Frederick in June 1861. "No good Union man can refuse to vote for him. The people of Frederick County will remember his patriotic services."
