Monument to Heroes
Summary
A project is in the planning to create a monument for the fallen Union soldiers buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funds for the monument are to be raised by subscription. The monument will not only praise the heroism of the soldiers but also express the gratitude "of a loyal community."
