Capture of Guerillas

Summary

A detachment of cavalry under the command of Maj. Cole of Frederick captured a number of guerillas in the mountains near Leesburg who had attacked 3 sutlers' teams near Hyattstown on September 11th. The guerillas were led by Nick Dorsey. After a brief fight, Dorsey himself, John Crown (former printer for the Frederick Herald) and several other men were captured and ultimately sent to Ft.
