Summary
The County Convention went against the politics of the Copperheads (specifically, the political stand taken by the Maryland Union) and that newspaper has denounced the actions and stances taken at the Convention. The Copperheads could not control the resolutions, etc. made at the Convention and therefore are left to criticize what transpired.
