For the Examiner. Urbana…

Summary

Letter to "Messrs. Schley, Keefer & Co." through the medium of the Examiner. Signed: A Slave Owner. Article begins by calling the editor of the Maryland Union "fork-tongued" for what he wrote about the arrest of J. P. Creager who was jailed on accusation that he was enticing slaves away from their masters. The arguments put forth by the writer are difficult to follow, but he apparently is a "Union" man.
