Summary

The Drinking Saloon of Christian Eckstein on Market St. in Frederick City was closed by the Provost Guard for selling liquor to soldiers and the liquor confiscated. Selling spirituous liquors to soldiers is forbidden and this was the third offense of Eckstein.
