Summary
First Lt. John L. Willman of the 1st MD Regiment, Potomac Home Brigade, has been appointed aid to Acting Brig. Gen. Dixon S. Miles who is commanding the forces at Harper's Ferry. The previous aid from a New York regiment returned home upon expiration of his regiment's time of service. Congratulations are offered to Willman.
