Wm. A. Wisong, Esq. was in Frederick city settling claims for family members of the 1st MD Regt. who are now prisoners of war. He will arrange to have the sums paid without expense to the recipients.

FIRST MARYLAND REGIMENT – William A. Wisong, Esq., of Baltimore, was in this city on Saturday last, settling the claims due to the members of this Regiment, many prisoners of war. His mission was purely benevolent, and he has been the means of ministering in the ____ of ___ ____ ___ families. He requests us to ____, that if ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ of said ___, desire to receive the three months pay due them, they should address Mr. Wisong, at Baltimore, who will arrange to have the sums paid to them, without expense to the recipients.
