Sisters of Charity

Summary

Ten Sisters of Charity from Emmitsburg arrived at the U.S.A. General Hospital in Frederick to help nurse the sick and wounded soldiers. The Sisters are "schooled to this vocation," and the paper notes it is difficult to find other competent female nurses.
