Return of Washington County Soldiers
Summary
Provisions were made for some Washington County soldiers to return home so they could vote. Men from several companies raised in the county returned - namely those belonging the companies of Capts. Maxwell, Fiery and Yontz, plus members of Col. Maulsby's Regiment, Potomac Home Brigade. The men looked "remarkably well" in spite of the exposure they are subject to. They returned to their camps on Saturday.
