Removal of Hospital

Summary

The government hospital that was located near Hagerstown on the property of Mr. Middlekauff was moved to Philadelphia along with 175 sick and wounded soldiers, some of whom are rebels. The Union ladies care for the soldiers regardless of which side they fought on, but "Secesh" women are not allowed in the hospital. The question is raised whether Union soldiers in Libby Prison are treated as well.
