The Bounty Tax
Summary
B. A. Garlinger, Esq., Collector of Taxes for Washington County, says that $18,000 of the original $28,000 designated for bounty money has already been collected and sum of $10,000 remains to be collected. Prompt payment of the tax may be regarded as a test of loyalty.
