Capt. James Cooper of Frederick, the son of the late Brig. Gen. James Cooper, and his unit, the Second Maryland Regiment, arrived in Frankfort, KY on March 21st and Capt. Cooper has been assigned the duty of Provost Marshal. Although young, Capt. Cooper is discreet and capable.
