FOR THE “VALLEY REGISTER”
MR. RHODERICK: - Noticing in the Frederick papers the announcement of several gentlemen as suitable candidates for the office of Register of Wills at the ensuing election, allow us through your paper, to add to the list the name of JOHN A. SIMMONS, Esq., one of the present Judges of the Orphan’s Court for this County. Mr. Simmons is a gentleman well fitted for the responsible position of Register, and every way worthy the support of the voters of Frederick County. If he will consent to become a candidate for said office (subject to the decision of the County Nominating Convention,) he will receive the cordial support of many TRUE UNION FRIENDS.
