2 accounts of Gen. Stuart's cavalry raid into PA at Mercersburg and Chambersburg, through Washington and Frederick Cos. and back to VA at Conrad's Ferry, just evading Gen. Pleasanton's forces. The raiders' guide in PA was Hugh Logan, late of Hagerstown.
