David J. Markey, chairman of the Union Central Committee of Frederick County, asks the Union voters of the various election districts to meet in primary assemblies on Oct. 22 (1864) to select delegates for the Oct. 29 County Convention, which, in turn, will nominate candidates for the state Senate and House of Delegates.
