Democratic State Convention

Summary

At a recent Democratic State Convention held in Baltimore, the assembly endorsed McClellan and Pendleton for president and vice president. Although Washington and Allegany Counties were not represented in the convention, Frederick County was represented by Col. Wm. P. Maulsby, Col. Anthony Kimmel, Jos. M. Palmer, John W. Baughman, and others.
