The County Convention
Summary
At the Union County Convention which met in Frederick recently, Henry Baker of Liberty was made chairman and Daniel Remsburg of Middletown and H.F. Steiner of Frederick secretaries. The below were selected as delegates to the State Convention, which will nominate candidates for state offices: B.A. Cuningham of Buckeystown; Hanson T. Rudy of Middletown; Samuel Keefer of Creagerstown; David W. Naill of Liberty; Dr. Wm. H. Wagner of Woodsboro; Benedict Boone of Petersville; and John W. Charlton of Jefferson. Alternates were also chosen.
