At the recent primary meeting held at Middletown, delegates were appointed to represent the town at the upcoming Union County Convention. Those selected were Henry Keafauver, Daniel Remsburg, David Ausherman, Hanson T. Rudy, Jonathan Routzahn, Robert E. Linthicum, Capt. David Kailor, Daniel Smith, John Ausherman, Capt. Jacob Rudy, Henry Biser, G.C. Rhoderick, Peter G. Schlosser, Wm. T. Ervin and Wm. H.C. Kemp.
