Summary
The Hagerstown Herald reports that during one of the recent Confederate occupations of the region, they liberated an inmate named Cramer from the County Prison who had been charged with murder. Cramer accompanied the Confederates to Williamsport, but decided to leave their company and surrender, being unwilling to associate with the southern soldiers.
