Accident to a Soldier
Summary
Last Thursday Pvt. Ephraim Sherman, Co. I, 15th NY Cavalry, was arrested near Middletown by Cole’s Cavalry, who intended to take him back to his regiment. Sherman broke both legs attempting to flee. Dr. Charles J. Baer tended to his injuries before he was taken to the Army Hospital in Frederick.
