Summary
Confederate soldier Evan Dorsey surrendered at Monocacy Junction last Friday, in accordance with President Lincoln’s recent proclamation granting pardons to those who surrendered and took the oath of allegiance. Dorsey joined the Confederates at the beginning of the war and on several occasions had attempted to damage the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.
