Consecration of the Natl. Cemetery
Summary
The ceremony consecrating the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, PA, took place last Thursday. A procession began in Gettysburg and proceeded to the cemetery. A prayer was given by Rev. Thomas H. Stockton, an oration by Edward Everett and then the dedicatory ceremony was led by President Lincoln.
