Transcript
We learn that on Sunday evening, two of our citizens, Frederick Marshall, Dry goods dealer, and Hubert Johnston, druggist, were arrested at Hagerstown, upon information communicated from the Provost Marshal of this city. It seems that these persons left here early on Sunday morning, in a buggy for Hagerstown, at which place they arrived about 7 p. m., and were arrested on suspicion of designing to communicate with the rebels. They are still in custody.
