Summary

Frederick was "enlivened" by parade of a battalion of the 87th PA Regt. One company went through drill in W Second Street "in admirable style."

Our city was enlivened on Saturday morning by the parade of a battalion of the 87th Pennsylvania Regiment, Col. Hays, now stationed at the Monocacy Junction. The battalion was under command of the Lieut. Colonel; it presented a very soldierly appearance, and was thoroughly equipped in every respect. One of the companies went through Frederick, in W. Second Street, in admirable style.
