Arrests at Hagerstown
Summary
Andrew G Boyd, (editor of the Free Press), Wm Rhodes, John Campbell, Mr. Valentine, Alexander Cretin and J C Brewer, of Hagerstown, were arrested by Union troops on charges of disloyalty but released without examination, except Rhodes and Campbell who were taken to Washington, under guard.
