Released

Summary

Several prisoners, confined on various charges, were released from the Guard House in Frederick after taking the Oath of Allegiance. The released were Dr. Gassaway S. Grimes, Wellington Hammond, and Samuel J. Baker from Ridgeville; W. H. Keller of Buckeystown; A. Hughs of Frederick Works; and Thomas E. Pope, Jos. Trapnell, Jr., James McSherry, Jr., A. Fearhake, M. C. Winchester, and Francis Brengle of Frederick. [from Frederick Examiner]
